Heavenly Father,

I come before you today with a heavy heart, seeking your guidance and blessings for our nation. As we gather for this National Prayer Service, I humbly ask for your mercy and grace to be upon us.

I pray for our leaders, both in government, in our communities, and in our churches, that they may be filled with wisdom, courage, and compassion. I ask for your protection over our nation, that we may be safe from harm and evil. Shield us from the forces of darkness Lord.

Lift up those who are suffering Lord. Above all, I ask for your love and peace to reign in our hearts and in our nation.

I pray for a brighter future for our country. Help us to be the change we want to see in the world, and to live out your commandment to love one another as you have loved us.

In your holy and precious name Jesus I pray,

Amen.
